one morning i awoke unable to move or speak. looking directly up at the ceiling, i noticed a shadowy figure. it slowly crawled towards me like in a movie. * keep in mind* all you feel is absolute dread/terror. still on the roof basically upside down, it dropped onto my chest applying pressure like it's crushing or trying to suffocate/kill me. i screamed at the top of my lungs as soon as i could move and speak again. these shadow beings are 100% real

This happened to me all the time as a military member in Okinawa Japan. I would have sleep paralysis, recurring nightmares, feel electricity, buzzing, I seen hatman with 2 other shadow figures. I believed my house was haunted. When I went to real estate company to turn in my keys my property wasnt registered but they took my money for 3 years. They had to give me three days before they found my rent file. Japan deletes records if it was haunted. Also, Guam where little manahunis would hold my girlfriend down and cover there mouth and it happened to me. I thought she was joking when she told stories about friends and family then it happened to us. I saw the ols hag, hatman, shadow people, sulfur smell, wet walls in my home, 3 scratches on my arm, I could not put photos on the wall. Last, the military community, Japanese, and locals in guam have plenty of stories. Military doctors just blew me off when I was asking for help. The Documentary Nightmare was spot on and I knew I wasnt crazy.

Saw the Hat Man in 2002. I was 19 living with my parents still. Sleeping in my basement and woke up to the hat man standing at the end of the stairs that led up to our kitchen. I rubbed my eyes and when I realized I was awake I just ran up the stairs to my parents room

I had an experience when I was 4 years old. I saw a shadow of a man on the wall of my hallway, it was like calling me out with a hand gesture. I screamed for my dad and when I heard his foot steps the thing looked towards where he was coming from and took off the opposite way. It was my one and only experience. I didn’t feel the terror necessarily that people often describe, more or less just an inclination that it was being sneaky so should call for my dad. I still sometimes wonder what would’ve happened if I went to it.

I seen them several times, even in daylight. They are the spirits looking for some person tempted to malintent, which they will be in charge of. Once I saw some kids I suspected where up to know good. I spoke to the ether: Are they up to jo good? Shadow being hunched like Nosferatu, against the lanscape walked passed me. As if to say: I got them under control.

For some reason I kept waking up at 3am for about 2 weeks and kept having this weird feeling(prolly bc it was 3am). But this time I woke up at 4am and as I opened my eyes at the ceiling, the blue light of the moon shined through the window from behind me to where I can see a shadow of a person holding onto my ceiling upside down. I don’t know why I didn’t freak out as bad but it was probably bc I just woke up and didn’t want to deal with this. So it wasn’t until I got up to turn on the lights that I started to feel like something might happen to me . I turn on the lights and turn quickly at the ceiling and find nothing.

My daughter just told my mom of the story where she snuck out of the house and went to her boyfriend's house he lives down a dirt road off of road that is wooded, when it was time for her to come home she was walking down the road and she seen this dark shadow figure with no face she stopped for a minute and then she decided to walk past it like she didn't see it, , she walked past it a few steps after passing it she turned around and it was right behind her in her face when she turned around. She ran the rest of the way away from that area. Hopefully it's enough to scare her not to sneak out anymore.

Just saw one in sleep paralysis last night. It was very boxy body like it had some sort of suitcoat or tenchcoat, and its head was very small. Sort of like the hat man, but with no hat and that creepily small head. It came up on me fast and without moving legs. Just floating over to me, and as I was screaming I was finally able to get up and move and turn the light on

What would make a shadow wear a hat like he’s going on a business trip? 🥴 I hear people saying it’s possibly Satan but what would make Satan wear that attire. Nevertheless glory be to Jesus.

I have supernatural encounters of my own that I speak about on my channel. I’ve seen some pretty wild stuff. Again glory be to Jesus.

My Ex seen the shadow man though and told me a story about how she seen him before we met. It made me more interested in looking into this.

I’ve seen them from the age of 6 and it stopped in 2011 but just last year on thanksgiving I saw one again outside in the morning while I was organizing tables for family gatherings later that night our little nephew & my son where outside in the backyard alone & my son told me they saw a tall man & it was a shadow I was shocked 😳

The shadow man... Is satan himself! I see him in my dreams. One perticular dream i had an "astral dream" i was taken to hell by an angel. I was standing in a giant square concrete room. In the middle was a spiked cage hanging from a massive chain. There were naked men and women screaming and suffering being tormented by demons in this cage. Under the cage was a bottomless pit with stacks of dead bodies falling down into the pit. I was standing in BLOOD up to my ankles!!! It was so intense. I could hear thunder outside sounded like bombs going off. There were random fires all over the room. All the suddon i witness a tall man dressed in all black trench coat with a detectives hat. His skin was all grey. He had eyes like fire. Pure evil. He was walking around the hanging cage and around the bottomless pit. Once i seen him i knew that i was in the presence of the devil himself!!

The one I seen took 9 weeks to get to spottings of and he wasn't a silhouette he was a column just a straight-up column of Shadow about 6 ft to 9 ft and look just like it did on the internet I was amazed it took a lot of effort to get to see it twice in 9 weeks

I'm 51.
The house I grew up in was haunted. One of which was a shadow person. I believe shadow people are their own sub class between ectoplasm and full figure apparitions. It never tried to communicate with me or physically attack me. However, I will never forget being a kid and this solid black form standing in my doorway as I slept. This went on for years.
