Nayla celebrates her second birthday, as her parents reflect on their journey with her through her diagnosis of Trisomy 18. Edwin, a 39-year-old with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, ventures out of the house for the first time in a while, defying the limitations of his condition and embarking on a two-hour journey to a local hawker centre for a taste of his favourite char kuay teow. He also has a chat with Dr Chong of Star PALS about life and dying.

Such a phenomenonal documentary in portraying the reality of challenges that the Rare community faces daily, while balancing it with such dignity for the participants. Thank you for bringing awareness to this community that lives among us but we are often blinded to.

And these parents are amazing, deeply inspirational.

I think if the child has good quality of life and brain working yes do what you can I know ppl aren't going to be happy with me but I'm also talking as a parent of a disabled child who has sadly passed but the dad that brought his daughter back from cardiac arrest wasn't right she has no quality of life and I always thought would I like to be like that n someone brings me back to carry on with that life no I wouldn't it broke my heart when my son died but he couldn't walk or talk fed through tube downs syndrome fragile x in daily pain only way to tell was cry ❤
