Devin, I love all those tangs, do you have a video on how you added them all without having conflicts?

Great video, ya doing things alittle at a time is key. I twice now have almost wiped out my tank adding magnesium. Everyone says don't dose over 100ppm at a time but even way under that has made my corals suffer and some losses. I've had to learn the hard was that a cap full a day instead of a large dose would have achieved the same results without shocking the tank.

I did the ATO without a siphon break on my TANK luckily, it didn’t overflow as I was home I think you missed one of the biggest mistakes beginners, make is topping off there aquarium with salt water instead of fresh water thanks for all the good videos

I'm curious about Dino's solution. Po4 0.009 no.3 is 12

It doesn't disappear even if you turn off the lights for three days
And the coral color got dark with the rise of no3 I lowered the light to 50% intensity

Haha i think now is a great time to try saltreefing, need to save up a lil but the knowledge is there!!
Would you say we could make this hobby self-sustainable? I dont mind a lil loss as its certainly worth the beauty

Another great tip is to put chemical treatments on a doser. For example, I keep a mixture of chemi-clean in a small dosing container, and at the first signs of any cyano, I'll dose around 5-10mils a day (100gal tank). And after a few days of a slow & steady treatment, the cyano gets removed while I slowly get my PO4/NO3 balances back in line...which is usually the cause of my cyano outbreaks when they fall out of balance/range.

#1 tip to a new reefer, if you have FOMO or fear of something JUST WAIT STOP DOING THINGS LEAVE IT ALONE. LOL

I've bleached corals when adding too much rox carbon.

I change my lights way too much. Or used to at least. Up and down constantly trying to dial them in because my corals "didn't look happy" Dont keep fiddling with lights. Just leave them!

Second mistake was my phosphates were too high. I crashed them down to nothing using GFO in a day (from .5 down to .02) and caused a huge Dino outbreak. So yeah, go slow and don't chase numbers.
