Figuring out how long to cut PVC pipes and getting the angles perfect is such a pain. I had to re-plump someone's whole pool pump house. The unions make a world of difference. I added at least 3 to his set-up.

I'm getting ready to begin my first hard plumbing job on a 40 gallon breeder. I plan on using cheap white 3/4 PVC to dry fit everything in place, then using those to cut the blue schedule 80 pipe. Thanks for the tip on clear primer! I had not thought of that!

Went through countless hob filters now have a fx5 and 6 canisters over a period of 10+ years and now have had my sump on my first saltwater tank and im so happy i plumbed my own filter this time...its fun if you keep the right mindset.
