They were wiped out during the 3rd great ninja war mist, stone and lightning teamed up. Uzumaki's were monsters they're the reason summoning jutsu and seals exist in naruto. The sole reason no one talks about them was because their nation was sacrificed to start the peaceful era they needed to die for other nations to feel safe. They were hard as fuck to kill and lived forever more then anything they sealed jutsu and made kekkei genkai useless. They upset the balance of power to much by only being allies with the leaf.

Uzumaki's foundation is much more deep than Senjus and Uchihas, Orochimaru use to treat it as relics kekeke. Its just a pity that it was buried with them or else Nagato(Pain) and Karin would be more of a headache than they were on their debut 🤭😂. Uzumakis were also the true clan who's innately gifted with tremendous chakra reserves, lifespan, and regeneration. And its because of this that they were qualified to practice sealing arts and forbidden arts. We give them too low credit more than they deserve too.
