This is why we lose faith in doctors. Absolutely. How dare you say to trust your physician? Imagine living with pain that makes you want to blow your brains out, and your doctor sees you twenty minutes every few months, and feels your self report is inadequate. It's abusive to withhold care because you just don't "feel" they have a stand in their own care.

I was on bed rest for nine months with pelvic floor disorder that kept me in shuddering pain and unable to leave the house unless to a doctor.

Seven urologist and urogynecologists, two gynecologists, and a gastroenterologist were all okay with my suffering. They couldn't find the cause so it was my problem and they threw up their hands. The ER had me considered a drug seeker.

Finally, a urologist examined me during an attack and he was appalled. He had neglected me. Three cystoscopies, bladder tests, a pessary, and a uterine biopsy and what I had was a neuromuscular issue.

This discussion is an example of intellectual elitism. There is a disdain for the patient that cannot easily be managed. Let them pat themselves on the back for saving the insurance company money while medical malpractice and medication are a leading cause of mortality.

Isn't there quite a bit of data for some of them?

Dr Smith- On the exhale, are we supposed to contract the stomach muscles in order to completely try to empty the breath or not? When I do that, it almost feels like it creates anxiety or a sense of force and uncomfortableness in order to COMPLETELY exhale so I was thinking maybe I'm not doing it right by squeezing/ tightening the core.
