I could be wrong, but I believe QMB, SLMB, and QI are considered Medicare Savings Programs (MSP), not technically Medicaid. While they are usually administered through a state's Medicaid program, they are separate programs from traditional Medicaid. From my understanding, in general, individuals with a MSP have access to the same providers and services a patient with Medicare without an MSP would have access to. Medicaid often has a different network of providers and there may be some services that one covers that the other may not.
From what I have heard, although separate from Medicaid, MSPs can work together with it. For example, someone qualifying for QMB might also be eligible for traditional Medicaid benefits.

My question is would Medicare and Medicaid still have the original plan? Would it be in network? What level is QMB ?
