I remember years ago on the Canadian Shark Tank, He refused to look at someones product because they wanted to manufacture in Canada. He said China is the way to go for cheap labour and a business will fail if they don't manufacture there.

The biggest problem with Chinese imports is actually their "developing nation" status, which is what allows them to export so cheaply. You don't need tariffs, just strip them of the status, they claim to be so super developed, no?
