In the past 8 years, over 8000 companies have relocated from California to Texas. No Corporate tax, right to work non-union, extremely low regulatory oversight, land is abundant, no state income tax, friendly people...oh, and we know which bathroom to use.

Moved to Florida in 1987 with only a few bucks in my pocket. Lived in a tent for the first six weeks. Took a job making a fraction of what I had been making in New York. Best decision of my life. Have owned my own business since 1999 and business is good.

The problem is these Democrats move to a different state and vote for the same garbage

My wife and I left the Military in 2010 with a multiple multiple multiple deployment status backing us. We literally were leaving Hawaii (where we were stationed) and were moving ANYWHERE. We were starting our lives for the first time. We chose Florida. Thank god.

My family took a tour 20 years ago through a well known American knife factory in southern California, just east of San Diego. The company president came out and talked to us in person and he was pretty upset with California. He said California is anti-business and they want to tax me to pay for health insurance for illegal aliens, and I can't afford to do business here any longer. We will move everything to Idaho and all my employees that want to go may do so. I hear Buck Knives is doing well in business friendly Idaho.

So happy in Iowa now. Colorado really went down the blue tubes where I lived. Unfortunately there are always people that leave blue states, move to red states and still vote blue.

Kevin Oleary is on my shit list, he mandated his employees get the vaccine and totally shamed them if they didn't want to do it.

“The blue states are not working anymore”. This is plain for all to see. Rime is out of control, poverty is creeping into every corner of these states. Yet the people vote more and more aggressively for the “leadership” destroying their lives. A substantial conundrum.

Used to live in CA until 2021 and moved to Florida. It was just getting harder and harder to justify living there. Moving to Florida was a great decision. The pandemic response was lunacy and totally destroyed small businesses and start-ups in CA. No matter how much revenue they collect in CA, they always need more. It's insane.

I been in Sarasota Florida since 1979 I built my own successful business and sold it to my oldest son and in the last year help my youngest son buy a business in the same field. I have seen hundreds of people come here from those blue states and make Sarasota even better. They took what ever business and skills they had and started all over here. We have their business, their talents and their families that will continue to make Sarasota even better place to live.

Closed down my small business in the communist republic of Washington and moved to OK. Best decision I’ve made in some time.
My plan is to help keep this state red

So long as they don't bring there voting habits with them. Leave them in your failed state

I live in Massachusetts. It's arguably the most successful blue state (low crime, fairly clean etc etc). That being said, it's starting to take a nose dive. All of the inner cities are becoming too expensive and there's too much government regulations. People are starting to move farther and farther away from Boston. Something has to give. I'm worried that it's going to turn into California.

Like California Massachusetts is going to be filled with people that are extremely wealthy, or extremely poor. I used to be a proud Bostonian, but because of it's politics, I no longer want to tell people where I'm from. Democrats are embarrassing.

As a So Cal beach kid in the 70's-80's I never imagined Florida being a cooler and better place to live than California.
But here we are.

Michigan should be on that list as well. No one wants to work here. No one wants to start a business. It’s a horrible environment and getting worse by the day.

I’m in California and the government’s heavy hand ruined the thriving family business during covid - a business that’s been a pillar of the community since 1953. We’ve done our best to put the pieces back together but we no longer trust that it won’t all happen again. There is no assurance that the government won’t keep meddling so we’re packing up and outa here this spring. It’s been hard watching my father struggle to maintain what he built up for the last 7 decades as the edicts from supreme master Newsom prevent him from operating as usual. Enough is enough.

I really can’t understand how anyone with a sound mind could start a business in California, Chicago, Boston, or New York. Regulation and high taxes always hurt small businesses.

As a South African I can vividly remember O'Bama"s comment when he was elected with the statement "things are going to change, " A pity he did not say everything was going to turn into crap. I still thought to myself "the contents....of the Trojan horse." I was right. In fact, some folks think with "Sleepy Joe apparently running the O'"Bama is still pulling the the shadows.
