She killed it because she thought the tax breaks was money NY was going to give to Amazon. She thought if Amazon didn't go to NY then that money that would have been given could be used in NY rather than given to a big business. She didn't understand that a tax break for Amazon wouldn't have been money given to them (there was no money), but tax money Amazon wouldn't have to pay to incentivize them to go to NY. Somehow she graduated with an economics degree and couldn't understand this basic concept.

What's funny is she was so against it because Amazon was going to get a tax break. She thought the city of New York was paying Amazon to build the distribution center. She kept saying "Take the money and put it into the city"! For somebody who went to the one of the best business/economic schools in the U.S., she doesn't know how tax breaks work.

Look I will state some fact here. I lived and worked for years in and around LIC Queens and Brooklyn, NYC. Amazon's headquarters there may have very well SAVED a dying neighborhood. It has progressively been crumbling for more than 40 years. This may very well have stalled its DEMISE or even rejuvenated the neighborhood. WHY the H*LL would ANYONE, but a SPOILED LITTLE CHILD oppose that. What was her alternative Solution? Please tell me she actually had one.

What I love about the shark tank moguls is they are shrewd, too the point, factual, no nonsense, and honest. If you don’t listen to them you are doomed to fail because they are so successful

This is absolutely true at where I live and grow up here in south Texas. It’s generally poverty everybody lives in mobile homes. The jobs are abundance, but the education is low. Amazon has been opening up warehouses in poverty areas and these poverty areas are thriving now.

It is disgusting how the media people have to inject their opinions over the guest. A guest that has credibility about business and investing.
