Hi jack, at school we use the dr frost maths powerpoints for class work and I use your videos when learning topics beforehand (They are extremely useful btw).
I am confused because one of your extension videos is on improper fractions but in the dr frost powerpoint, there is a section on improper fractions but it is not labelled as an extension.

I am still going to learn it but was wondering whether the improper fractions would appear in the exams?

Hello, thanks for this video. I have a queation regarding finding B. In my textbook it says that I should equate terms in x^2. So 5x^2, Ax^2 and Bx^2. => 5=A+B =>5=2+B => B=3 and not use another value for x (x=1).
I have also used this method in your previous videos when working through the examples and always came to the same result. I dont understand how may method works but I think its quicker and less room for error. However I wanted to know if my method will fail at some point if the equations are larger or is it pretty much the same as yours? Hope my display. is clear
Thanks in Advance

7:38 you used X=1. Why? What would be the difference of using -1.
