Trust; that is the issue; the problem is that Congress, the Senate and the House, has over the last 10 to 15 years labored with all their combined might to build an unbreachable wall, an unshakeable foundation of MISTRUST, that I can think of very little Congress can do to generate any trust. Everyone expects them to act in partisan lockstep behavior; in fact, I suspect your average American would be shocked to see congress act in any bipartisan manner on the Russian Investigations. How sad that we have a partisan congress dealing with an issue that effects the very foundation of our democracy.

I don't go to web sites to research. Old school I guess you could say. TV is my prime source. CNN and MSNBC with Fox thrown in for good measure (youtube clips) . So the polar ice caps melting and retreating glaciers are not an indicator of global warming I don't know what is. I like to watch documentaries and concentrate on weather more than nature(animals). I thought at one time I would go into meteorology. But something else caught my interest and I didn't pursue it. I find it extremely interesting. Liberal arts personality with a little ADD thrown in. There is certainly nothing wrong with expressing an opinion. But when 'facts' are thrown in that have little to no merit it is no longer an opinion. Several hundred climate and other scientists know that climate change isn't a hoax. CO2 is not dynamite but acts much like the glass in a hot house. The light wave length changes so it can't escape the the glass so it gets warm to hot. The level of CO2 has increased since the industrial revolution. Ice cores bear that out. Carbon has been found at higher levels in ice cores. (coal) man does influence the climate. The basic difference between weather and climate is time.
