Linking Christians in the USA to radical Christians in Africa is a complete straw man argument. Try again.

'Moderate' Muslims should not be held accountable for the actions of extremists. But they do have a special responsibility to work together with the authorities and other players (i.e., other faiths and groups) to root out those extremists in their midst. Yes, 'moderate' Muslims are not to be blamed, but they have a heavy task on their hands, considering the fact that their religion is being - in their view- hijacked by these violent and vocal few.
