Born and raised in the country! I've visited in the city tons but every time I do I just feel sad, isolated, and scared. Country life is for me, forever and always!

Country. I just moved to the city and I honestly miss the country so much. The city is too loud and polluted, the country is peaceful and home.

I used to live in a small country town growing up, now I live in the city. From my personal experience, I enjoy the city life a lot better. When I used to live in a little country town, there wasn’t a whole lot to do in my town. Whenever me & my friends wanted to go out and do something (go bowling, go to the mall, go to the movies, etc), we would have to drive to the nearest town to be able to do that, because we lived in no man’s land. Now that I’m in the city, I don’t have to worry about that, because everything is just around the corner.

I like both. I'm half city, half country boy.

you can argue that people in the country are healthier and thats because they breathe cleaner air and eat home grown foods!!!!

I'd rather live in the country. It's more peaceful and you learn more about your life and family, even your surroundings then getting on a game console all the time and being glued to your phone 24 hours a day. I should know cuz I've been living in the city for 9 years and counting but I know how it is up in the country where my mother and dad live

I live in a small town and I absolutely love it. I like to ride my bike around a lot and I really enjoy it because like Josh says there's space to travel. I often have most of the streets and Roads to myself I mean I've ridden my bike in the cities and it is kind of stressful you have to constantly look over your shoulder to make sure you don't get hit by a car. Cities are fun, but at the end of the day I want my warm safe house in a quiet town

I've lived in the country my entire life and it is so much better - it is also less dangerous.

I've lived in a Northern Maryland suburb for my entire life (21 years). I like the convenience of having things within short driving distance and all but my strongest values when it comes to my day to day life sense of community/friendly neighbors, green scenery/autumn leaves/nearby lakes or beaches(aka Nature), personal space, time and the freedom to live my life how I please at whichever pace I choose to enjoy it, a family-oriented town, quiet time, are all things that my current lifestyle lacks. Today I took a trip to Southern Maryland....the difference was unbelievable. The peace of driving on a road without traffic and having strangers wave at me was refreshing. It was nice to see people in their yards spending fully invested (no distractions: ie. cell phones, ipods, ipads, etc.) quality time with their families...that's something I didn't really have growing up. And OMG can I just say that I saw the greenest grass I've ever seen in my life and there wasn't the slightest bit of pollution/litter on the IT WAS JUST BEAUTIFUL. I'm definitely moving there as soon as my finances allow me to. It just felt to me like that's where I would call "home". Can't wait to start my own little family and raise them in an environment where family comes first and you have an entire community that supports and lifts you up when they see you succeed, rather than tear you down to get ahead for their own personal gain. I choose country life over city life any day....I'll just have to shop online lol.

People that are not raised in the country just don't get it. Life just means so much more.I have noticed that people that live the city are very self absorbed. (There are exceptions)

I would suggest having a small place in the city and a country home. Have the best of both!
