Open VM settings -> Display, set specify monitor settings, and choose maximum resolution of any monitor to 1024 x 768, this will make it much faster, maximizing the window or set it to a higher resolution will make it like a turtle

My i5 8350H quad-core can't handle the animations on Mac. Like if I try to minimize a window or try to restore it back, the screen freezes for 3-5 secs and then it works. Any solution for that?

My intel i5 9th gen has 6 cores but I still set it the core settings to 2, it ran smoother than it was with 4 cores.

Do you know if there's a way to do a GPU passthrough to the macOS using Workstation Pro? That would be a game changer.

Hi, i have an intel core i5 -1240P processor which have 12 cores and 16 threads, but after I set to 2 core and 4 threads a warning displayed that the vitural machine may not working properly. How to fix that? Should I use 1 core and 8 threads?

I have a question. I have installed macOS Mojave and now i recently installed macOS Catalina. I have a 6 core i7 with 16gb ram and i set 4 cores and 8gb ram to vmware to use for the macOS vm. Everything runs fine and is fast and responsive but it seems to be running at 30fps. When moving the cursor around its hard to notice but when watching videos its very clear to see that it is running at 30fps. I have vmware tools installed so that's good, but my question is, can you run 60fps in the virtual machine? Cause in the video it looks like yours is running at 60fps.

When I go to settings, many things are grayed out and unclickable to change- like number of processors. Still can't get my display settings right either. Fonts are so tiny... Is VMTools configurable. Where is its control panel?
