About Bruce Lee's Game of Death (1978) (source Google):

The Game of Death (Chinese: 死亡的遊戲) is an incomplete Hong Kong martial arts film, filmed between August and October 1972, directed, written, produced by and starring Bruce Lee, in his final film project. It was an influential film that had a significant cultural impact. The original version's concept of ascending a tower while defeating enemies on each level was highly influential, inspiring numerous action films and video games. The film is also known for Lee's iconic yellow-and-black jumpsuit as well as his fight scene with NBA player and student Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, both of which have been referenced in numerous media.

About Bruce Lee: (source Wikipedia):

Bruce Lee was a Hong Kong and American martial artist, martial arts instructor, actor, director, screenwriter, producer, and philosopher. He was the founder of Jeet Kune Do, a hybrid martial arts philosophy drawing from different combat disciplines that is often credited with paving the way for modern mixed martial arts (MMA). Lee is considered by critics, media, and other martial artists to be the most influential martial artist of all time and a pop culture icon of the 20th century, who bridged the gap between East and West. He is credited with promoting Hong Kong action cinema and helping to change the way Asians were presented in American films.

Bruce Lee is a legend and we all know he just wanted to progress the fight further for plot purposes. While Game of Death (1978) was never truly completed, at least we got this iconic fight scene between Bruce Lee and Basketball Legend, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar! We also got the stylish yellow and black jumpsuit which The Bride from Kill Bill (2003) paid homage too.

I will always love how you will criticize yet explain over how some issues occur in the scene (and possible real fight situation) and make me appreciate the scene and the breakdown more!

I feel like if Bruce was alive today he would've incorporated some judo and jiu-jitsu into his martial arts

I’m pretty sure Gene Lebelle taught him that arm triangle. At this time I believe he was taking Judo and grappling classes with him.

This just shows how much ahead of his own time Bruce Lee was! 👏 Unrefined Jiu Jitsu at its finest.

Notice how gentle Chad is with my boy Pak. I would like to see y’all breakdown Johnny Cage’s friendship from MK11

Bruce was cool enough to give his fellow co workers a good spot in the movie and a fighter's chance.

We need to remember that Bruce was the one of the first or first to show any kind of grappling, if he wasn’t please let me know ! Good video !

Great analysis! I like the play by play and how the criticisms are constructive too (I've seen reaction videos where an expert would get angry and dismissive). Keep up the nice work.

Bruce Lee came to respect all aspects of grappling as he got older & thrown around by Judokas & Catch-Wrestlers

Finally Chad gets one on the judoka (since most techniques in judo n bbj overlap)
