Chris looks at an Acorn 3 button mouse that came with an Acorn A3010.

After replacing the Acorn's on board battery and getting the computer out of supervisor mode I discovered the mouse was 99% unresponsive on both the X & Y axis. All 3 buttons worked though so I delved a little deeper...

I have the exact same problem with my mouse (same model as yours). Glad to see that it's the mouse and not the computer. After Christmas I'll try to test the resistors and see if its caused by the same fault and hopefully fix it. Thanks for sharing the solution!

Same mouse, used to work, now only goes left/right not up down. Pulling apart to check the resistors right now. Thanks heaps for posting this. :)

Have the same issue, followed the steps in your video and it seems IV got the same faulty part, not that clued up on this resister stuff so can I ask do I order 2.7 ohm or 27 ohm, I have no idea which thanks
