The True Power of G-Force - Joe Rogan and Mark Smith #shorts #military

Many of us don't realize how frequently gravitational force plays a role in our everyday life. Gravitational force known as G-force is a measurement of the type of force per unit mass, it can happen anywhere at any time. For example the sun's gravitational force is what keeps us from melting and maintains earth's orbit. An example of experiencing G-force is like going on a roller coaster. While roller coasters don't usually exceed 3 g's (for safety reasons) a fighter pilot will experience over 9 g's in some cases. This requires pilots to go through advance training along with wearing a special suit designed for high amounts of g-force. Mark smith is an airline pilot, mixed martial arts referee, and judge who explains the immense amount of power g-force can put out and how it affects the human body.

Imagine standing up after not having doing so for three days, but you stand up as fast as possible and you’re also lifting 200 pound weights. And you have a nicotine buzz. That’s what it’s like.

The amazing thing is…the Blue Angels DON’T wear G-suits.

Fun fact: the blue angel aviators do not wear g-suits. They cannot control their aircraft in close proximity with the other jets while wearing the suit. They hold the control stick against their thighs to maintain their position within the formation. If they had a g-suit on and it inflated and deflated it would cause them to move around too much within the formation.

I’ve pulled 7.9 Gs in an F-16, I wanted to go for more but weather got in our way. And even then I got spots on my arms, the “Geasels”, not to mention feeling like I got beat with a baseball bat the next morning, and I’ve never had my back and neck feel as bad as that. I’ve heard from friends and pilots that going from where I was to 9G the weight doesn’t feel multiplied, it feels exponential. Hats off to those guys and gals pulling that shit daily cause anything over 7 is a full body workout for however long you’re flying and well after. Once I got used to it after an hour or so I realized I only have to squeeze my calves and I could talk and look around normally while at 6-7 without having to strain too hard. After that it’s a whole different ballgame lol.

These men and women are absolute legends among humanity. Traveling at speeds no living thing can reach. It’s crazy to think that jet fighters in ukrain are having to fight under that kind of pressure. Aces really must be built different these days

I had mono and didn't know it when I was a late teenager. I got up from bed, made it a few steps, and then I was at the bottom of the ocean with crabs tearing through my skin on my left side ribcage. I also had blood running down my face. It turns out when I got up, I blacked out within moments. On the way down, I caught my ribcage on my tv stand and scraped it all the way up. It also turned me around and my face went into the hardwood floor. Your orbital bone (eye socket) is decently sharp and with less force than you'd think, your skin will get sliced open. That's why you see so many cuts and splits in that are during MMA/UFC bouts. Your brain tries to do whatever it can to keep you from offing yourself, and that's one of the biggest reasons why pain is literally a survival tool. My brain was trying to tell me the best way it could understand I was in danger. That's why "I was on the bottom of the ocean" getting eaten by crabs. That wasn't a fun hospital trip and I still have the permanent scar in my eyebrow where hair can't grow.

He might be able to train in the hyperbolic time chamber but can he survive a crab attack?
