Comparison: G-force

Показать описание
A g-force is a measure of acceleration. 1G is the acceleration we feel due to the force of gravity. It’s what keeps our feet tightly planted on the ground. Gravity is measured in metres per second squared, or m/s2. On Earth, the acceleration of gravity generally has a value of 9.806 m/s2 or 32.1740 f/s2.
Astronauts, fighter pilots and Formula One drivers might, for example, be said to experience a force or acceleration of so many ‘g’ when performing a particular manoeuvre.
The effect of high acceleration rates on humans can be very fatal and most humans start to pass out when subjected to a sustained acceleration of a few g.
To find out how many gs you experienced during an intense acceleration, take your maximum speed, divide it by the time it took to hit that rate, and then divide by 9.81m/s2. The resulting number is how many gs you experienced.

This goes to show how amazing formula one safety is. Max's 51 G crash at silverstone was truly scary.

Max vers tapped survived a 51g crash at silver stone last year, and an Indy car driver survived a 214g crash somehow

now i really know that indycar had ALOT of protection and that their car was very safe back in 2003 with the crash which had 214gs. if you're wondering how this happened, the driver's car had picked up air at 220 mph, and hit a massive steel pole sending his car flying. Luckily, the driver was ok.

Not just me looking at this video after Max’s reported 51g crash at Silverstone F1 surely

This just shows how lucky Rubens Barrichello is. Survived a 111g force crash whilst also hitting the fence and didn't even end his career as an F1 driver

Imagine the amount of Force The F1 V8 Engine must've to apply everytime just to get Up and Down to get cycle done

50 is pretty accurate for what happened with Max today.

quite a lot of people survived more than a 100g's
Kenny Brack in his 2003 indycar crash survived above 200G's!
i think Rubens Barichello survived something like 180G's in his early days of F1

Best G Force Experiences u had which were like 200-2000 G force

- jumping from a moving swing
-walkung steps and there is 1 step left and u feel like u have entered black hole
