Crazy part is back then not only did he have to remain conscious to pilot the plane and but he had to do so while shooting other planes or getting shot at. That generation was built different.

I work in a nursing home. When i started we had lots of ww2 vets. I tell you these men were built different. The way they viewed things. Very charming, funny and they didnt take anything for granted. Why? They appreciated life. They saw war. They were away from their families. Above all they were TOUGH.

It is a nice thought...but very misleading. When a body is under high g forces you can see physical changes in the muscle structure. This man was never under very high or low gs throughout his flight. I am not discounting what he did, but don't go and act like they were under the same forces.

The difference is litterally in the video. The set of people that passed out were in jets the old man was in a WWII aircraft, probably a trainer, being flown very calmly.
