The devs have made some improvements to combat, AI and dialogue. Definitely makes the game better but needs a few more improvements.

I love this game. I pre-purchased it, the first time I've done so in many years. It helped that in Canada the pre-order cost $45, so nearly half of what a new release costs here at $80. I'm having a lot of fun with it. The review- as all Easy Allies reviews are-is fair. I also appreciate that you didn't drop a day one review for the youtube algorithms and actually took the time needed. This is why I have trusted you reviews the most all these years. The cgi trailers for this game looked fantastic. An open world game with kung fu raccoons sounds cool but based on what i've heard it looks like a wait for it to hit gamepass type of game.

I kinda feel bad for the writers/voice actor for the narration. All that work done, but just grossly mishandled and implemented.

good review style. I especially like that the video shows the aspect you talk about, and that you just allow game scene with sound to speak for themselves.

Score seems about fair; the game has potential, but it feels like it needs a free DLC to really tighten up the main game with new enemy types (or new AI behaviours to the existing types), and some more content. Do that and it could have a more solid foundation for a good paid DLC to build on with a view towards an eventual sequel?

Normally I don't mind if Easy Allies' reviews are a little late since they're so high quality. This is one of the rare occasions where it's kind of pointless. The discussion on Frame Trap more than sufficed for coverage, and while I always appreciate Jones' take on an open world game, the work that went into this one, especially during E3 coverage, probably won't translate well into views. That said, it's still an excellent, well-written, and well-edited review of a game that is... none of those things.

I really prefer pure straight-corridor story focused, rather than open world that half assed. Give a proper character to love. Have a party even.

It’s fun running around with your Kung fu cat-mouse thing, taking screenshots in action poses. The combat can be fun as well, but it’s often SUPER janky, especially when you start fighting packs of enemies.
The story presentation is really really bad.
But I don’t regret buying Biomutant (50% off on PC).

I feel like this game could've been a hit if it were a nintendo switch exclusive not on any other console, too many high expectations ruined it though I personally didn't think it was bad, the soundtrack is amazing
