I'm loving Biomutant. Never really did care what reviewers say as I prefer to use my own mind. Most of these reviewers these days are suckup shills, and not worthy of wasting your time on.

I think this is the most accurate review for this game i've seen. This game definitely has really good moments as well as bad. Most critical reviewers look at how the bad greatly outweighs the good. and the reddit fanboys are so tunnel visioned they don't even notice the bad and only preach the good.

I will say that I love the game and also that your analysis has been one of the most fair, the important thing is that the developers have been quite receptive to the community, I think that one of the main mistakes was to make it for 60 dollars instead of 40 but this already falls more in THQ Nordic than in Experiment 101

I went into this game hypeless. I usually don't get on with cartoonish type games, so I wasn't really expecting to like it. I also don't really care abt price. If a game gives me at least 20 hours of fun, im good w/$60. That being said, ive not had as much fun exploring a world in a long time. Theyvr done some really cool stuff here. I feel like if this game was $30-$40, it would've got praised. Price seems to be a GIGANTIC focus in the gaming landscape

I love this game. it’s perfect for me as a casual gamer. great aesthetic and not too challenging. definitely could use some fixes but I hope we get a second one

I enjoy this game a ton, I like the gibberish the narration, and the combat. I think they did a lot right and a lot of stuff right in this game and other companies could learn from this small team.

About time my man. I have held off on this game for your honest review. It’s unreal I went and rewatch your outriders video right before launch. Dude you have a crystal ball. You nailed it. So I trust your reviews goood or bad.

You have some very fleshed out reviews, great work!

I appreciate your honesty here. I haven’t played the game however, I know you were pretty hype for this. After being burnt by AAA games seemingly more often than not these days, I can say the reviews are very polarizing as I’ve watched many trying to decide when to purchase. Congrats on being a new dad!

And this is why I waited for your review. So much more in-depth and balanced than the "big" reviewers out there. Makes you wonder why they are "big" to begin with...

In any case, I'm still interested in the game, so I guess wait for a good sale it is then!

After 50+ hours I can honestly say this game is at it's best when you're just relaxing and exploring the world

Lol. my mage build kills everything on extreme like it was a joke and it's close to unkillable.

Great review, I have taken your advice to wait and see what the Dev’s do in terms of updates .

Melee is only bad if your using a one handed slash or dual wield, I found Crush and Two Handed to be far far stronger than any range weapon I found

I agree with all your points. I hope that the devs make changes to the core gameplay to keep it engaging. Theorycrafting is my favorite part about RPGS and sadly this had none of it.

Once a couple reviews come out EVERY reviewer watches them before making their own review and then bases their reviews on the ones they watched.. Enter Biomutant

The one thing I look for in a game is satisfaction. Especially with combat. I want to leave an fight satisfied feeling like "that was awesome". This game does not do that for me. I really wanted it to but every fight is so meh. Maybe once you get a bunch of spells or whatever and some crazy guns but how long does that take? I don't think I can play it long enough to find out if even that is enough to do it.

Thank you for the info. Now I know I did right decision and wait till a lot of patches and maybe buy the game on special offers on steam.

I actually liked this much more than TLOU Part 2, despite the one being the most polished game I've ever seen along with with suckiest story I've played in years, while the other is in desperate need of a plethora of improvements (minor and major!) and recycles many now common gameplay tropes. But regardless of all that, Bio-mutant still manages to impress me much more overall, despite it's many shortcomings and lack of polish! Second favorite game release this year so far, in between "It Takes Two" - which gets my personal GOTY so far, and RE Village in my number #3 spot!
