Martin Heidegger - Contributions to Philosophy (1/7)

Contributions was written over the years 1936-38 and is a collection of Heidegger's notes/thoughts about beyng. As such, it was not written systematically from start to finish and lacks the polish of a book written explicitly for publication. Nevertheless, it is the first 'big picture' overview of Heidegger's post-Being and Time thought and therefore indispensable reading for the student of Heidegger.

In this video, I introduce Contributions and briefly discuss some general ideas Heidegger raises; including systems, technology, Being and Time, de-cision, negation, and two ways of thinking.
