This is really cool, the soldering challenge for smd sounds pretty interesting as smd kinda scares me whenever I have to solder some component even as basic as a 1206 resistor

This is a nice way to get new students introduced to the field of electronics. Some of the most expensive devices have the simplest circuits. When devices break, having basic electronics knowledge can save a lot of cash. Being able to diagnose circuit board issues has saved me a ton in repair costs.

This is really cool! I am going to suggest this video to one of my professors. He is the Dean of the Electronics Department at my college and we have talked about how to make the soldering program more engaging and informative.

Such a nice little kit you've got here. I would suggest to make the 10-pin connector asymmetric by snipping a pin and plugging a corresponding hole just to make it a bit more foolproof.
