Your insight is wonderful. I think Robyn apologists believe what she says and don't see what she does. Yes, she tells Kody to have a good relationship with wives or children, but Robyn does many things that keep Kody away from the rest of his family. Robyn never reaches out to other wives or children, but she is happy to call Kody's children as not 'safe'. personally, I can't tell if she believes what she says, but her actions are terribly destructive to the family. For instance, Robyn has a running feud against Hunter--who cares for his siblings and is personally successful--because he was not happy enough when Robyn announced her pregnancy with Solomon.

I think you’ve been fair and very insightful. I’ve watched the show since it started, but I didn’t understand the “why” behind the family dynamics until I started watching your videos. It totally makes sense why there would be certain types of polygamist wives, like Robyn’s type. It sounds like “survival of the fittest, ” so certain of patterns in personalities and relationships are going to be observable. The Browns put themselves in the public eye voluntarily, so they’re examples we can understand. I feel more educated when I watch your videos, and I think your doing a great job.

Your observations about Robyn's type do resonate in the monogamist world. Lots of women, myself included, have encountered that woman who will target a boyfriend or husband because they love to compete with a girlfriend or wife. Sometimes its just kept to a social event, while some are interested in wrecking the home. They love the attention. They want what the other woman has until they have it. The "poor little damsel needing to be rescued" may seem appealing albeit romanticized fantasy when compared to regular life, where both partners work.

I really appreciate your perspective as someone who was raised in the same group. All anyone can do is use the show and theor own interpretation and experience. Since you have sich a unique perspective, you can pick up on things that others might not understand or notice, especially when it comes to sister wives and being a child. Thank you.
