On TLC's 'Sister Wives,' Kody's son, Gabriel, breaks down in tears about his dad forgetting his birthday. In a side interview, the 21-year-old explains his father called him when Kody and his wife, Robyn, contracted COVID. Gabriel had it months before. However, Kody called on his birthday and didn't even mention it. Gabriel sobs while talking about it. 'Sister Wives' airs Sundays on TLC.

I cannot understand why this show is not canceled. The heartache of the children is ripping me apart. Am I the only one who cries for Gabriel? If this is scripted, then it is cruel. Kody is not even human. He is void of feelings for his own children, unless they were born to Robyn. I will lose all respect for Jenell if she continues to allow Kody to talk about her kids like they are trash to be thrown out. TLC has a lot of explaining to do. Christine stood up for her kids and got out. I can only hope Jenell does the same for the sake of her children.

This happened to my mom when she turned 16. Her entire family including her 9 siblings and her parents forgot her bday. It’s something that always stays with you. Some ppl shouldn’t have a lot of kids and this guy is one of them.

Forgetting a birthday during a call is bad but it can happen even to the best of parents. This son's hurt goes deeper than forgetting to say happy birthday during that first call.
