I don’t think she was. I think she wanted to know clearly if there had been an actual collision. Under those circumstances, she would 100 percent need to reschedule, because there could be unknown head trauma. I think she was simply making sure that she was fit for court.

It's not that she isn't empathetic. She has to clarify if it was an accident in case the woman is injured. She's about to have a trial, so she needs to be able to defend herself.

The judge was being very nice, asking vital questions to quickly pinpoint if the defendant was coherent enough for trial that day. Saying you had a major accident on the road when it's actually just a tire that popped is a BIG difference!

She is actually one of the most empathetic judges out there I watch her all the time and she is so kind and she will literally have a heart-to-heart conversation with people she gives people so many chances. Also she doesn't put up a people s*** or excuses and she calls bulshit when she sees it, but I love her!
