How I Pack My Carry-On KonMari | Vancouver, Seattle, Portland

I went on a weeklong trip to Portland, Seattle, & Vancouver to visit family & friends :) I already have a KonMari packing video from my summer Europe trip but I thought it'd be fun to show you how I pack for COLD places. Even though it's still fall, I packed my warmest winter jackets (because I'm an LA girl scared of the cold - hey, "cold" is relative, ok?? :P). It seems like people in America have never heard of the 1liter ziplog bag rule with certain sized bottle where ALL liquid things have to be in the ziplog bag when taken inside the plane. (including eye drops and liquid make up) Is this rule not a thing in America?

Travelling in warm countries with Cold nights, such as india, a *Down Jacket* is soo great to hav it does not take up any space in the bag, becuae you can compress it but it warms you so well and you never get sticky in it either. *i would have frozen to death on my nightly bus travels in india if not for my Down Jacket*

Heat tech is my FAV for cold weather. I put their leggings and tees on under normal-weight clothes and ta-da! You are ready for cold weather without needing a whole new wardrobe! I have been doing this for about 10 years (also a Cali-girl) and it has saved me in many places, even ones that I thought were going to be warmer, so now I pack them anytime I am going to someplace that ever gets cold.
