Yes Ruby loves the Doctor and the doctor was reincarnated as Aqua. Ruby though can’t really be in a relationship cause well she’s an idol.

But Aqua only loves Ruby as a sister. Which is normal. It’s been kind of laid out in the last few chapters that Aqua likes Kana.

Y'all are fools if you actually believe that it'll end at incest route. Ruby is mentally unstable and engaging in weird stuff but Aqua clearly isn't interested in it. Yes, the 'clingy imouto trope' is used which is disturbing but if you want to hang around for the sake of the story it gets resolved and ruby finds her own path and so does Aqua

Onk has a consistent theme that has been carried through the series and has such a dark yet deep storyline that dives into topics we don't see in 99% of media (this is one of them) this is only a drop of water in a whole bowl. So it doesn't really affect me much. However this really separates the real fans from the fake ones.

A lot of people overthink about what happened in the manga. *spoilers* I’m not a supporter of incest but the thing most people don’t realize Ruby and Aqua AREN’T going to end up together. Aqua has stated that he likes Kana romantically and only sees Ruby as a sister. Plus Ruby only clings onto Aqua as a coping mechanism for all the trauma she’s faced in her current and past life. Ruby probably would’ve already had a mental breakdown if it weren’t for Aqua. You could say Ruby’s closeness to Aqua is almost like a cry for help. What Ruby really needs is therapy so she can let go of Aqua. Aqua also needs therapy but for different reasons

I’m always OK with messed up stories that do things make people feel uncomfortable stories are form of art and I don’t think art should have a limit. Some art does things like this and I know some art does things like this distastefully or to get shock out of someone with no good reason however I feel like the story being told that justifies something this bad even if it is a little over the top.
