Actually, MXF is very easy to handle in any decent computer being an intraframe format, which means every frame is compressed individually.
Intraframe codecs like XAVC-I wrapped in MXF are far easier for editing systems to handle than heavily compressed long-GOP codecs like XAVC wrapped in mp4, as MXF files reduce the strain on the CPU during decoding.
It’s both a professional and editing-friendly format, you don’t need to transcode as long as you have a decent computer.

Thanks for these tips, great job! On the FX6, is it possible to output video simultaneously via both the HDMI and the SDI outputs at the same time? I am filming a one man film and I already have a Small HD monitor mounted on my FX6 camera connected via HDMI but I want to also connect another monitor out of the SDI port at the same time so that as the actor I can see my lighting changes. Hope that makes sense. If that won't work, what's the cheapest way to achieve this?

Add shutter angle to the FX3 PLEASE... I'm legit thinking about switching back to Canon because this is such an annoyance. The R5C has every feature I wish the FX3 had. Sony you can't be serious.

Hi, im looking at pairing one with a 200-600 for surf videography, im not happy with my current ninja 5 size when running 2 scopes in the sun. Is there a 7”-9” monitor that will allow some in camera menu controls that you recommend? Looking at something 2000 nits or higher

Come on, have a damn camera in your hands as you're talking. For example, how do you switch between db and iso? That's what we need to know, not the obvious stuff that you state.
