Don't let them fool you. I've only been getting 4 hours of battery life lights off volume up before I have to start charging it again on the Sony. Probably just go with JBL

Sony's current speaker selection would be much nicer if they were priced just a little less, considering thet are clearly trying to copy JBL's formula and the overall result is a slightly less good speaker.
Like, if they were priced $50 cheaper across the board than JBL's equivalent offer, versus being the same exact price, they would be worth it.
The only positive is the Sony speakers are on sale all the time for really good prices, and that's saying a lot because JBLs are also on sale quite often.
I imagine they have to put them on sale because, well, people compare them to JBL and just buy JBL, it's not like it's any more expensive overall.

Trust me DO NOT buy the Sony speaker, I’ve had it and it absolutely sucks. The sound is dry and cheap and there are no bass at all.
