The Act is an American true crime anthology drama web television series that premiered on March 20, 2019, on Hulu. The series is based on the real life of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, who was accused of abusing her daughter by fabricating illness and disabilities as a direct consequence of Munchausen syndrome by proxy. It’s when I watch this scene that I realise exactly how horrifying the whole situation would have been. Gypsy could have gone to school, gone to college and done all the things people just naturally take for granted. So many years of her life were wasted, years she could never get back. Just because of her mother. When I look at it from that perspective, then I can understand how angry she must have been, and how resentful towards her mother. Gypsy’s mother ruined her life.

She should not have spent anytime in prison, i don't get the American justice system, so many prisoners are in the wrong place, they should have upgraded the law decades ago
