My mom was born and raised in Sudan where the water is good and she had thick hip length hair but when she moved to Saudi Arabia where the water is hard and salty her hair got really thin and short over the years now its barely shoulder length so please yall watch out for the water

Moved to Germany last year and almost moved straight back when I found out what hard water was doing to my hair. Overnight coconut/olive oil pre-poo and using a very sulfate-heavy clarifying shampoo has really helped me get the juicy back into my curls.

Yeah, my body used to itch like a crackhead. Ended up buying a filtered showerhead and that problem got solved w/the quickness. Also has made my hair very soft and not nearly as knotted but haven't seen any results in my growth rate. Anyhow, thanks for the tip re using it on my face for at nighttime cuz I don't have any special filter that would fit on my sink nozzle either. Have a lovely holliday weekend!!

You can get an under the sink filter for your kitchen/bathroom sinks!!!! I deal with super hard water here at my college and when I moved into my apartment i REFUSED to put up with the acne anymore so I got a shower filter and an under sink filtration system and its SOO much better now

I’m so glad someone is talking about hard water. My country’s water is terrible. Went to the states for only a weekend and my (extremely sensitive) skin almost immediately started clearing up. Came back to my country and now I have rashes 😭. And it’s soooo hard for hair growth. You can’t wash your hair too much with hard water. It’s so harmful
