This is absolute facts. No matter what I did, my hair always felt dry, always frizzy and never held any curl definition. I changed my shower filter for the first time 2 months ago and it is literally night and day. I can detangle easier, my hair is moisturized and my curl pattern is surprisingly tighter. I think the hard water was weighting my curls down. A shower filter is seriously one of the easiest investments that will save your hair in my opinion.

Shower filters don't soften hard water though. You need a water softener for that. You are most likely experiencing the effects of less chlorine which shower filters will catch. Chlorine also jacks the hair up. The only in shower water softener I've seen is the Waterstick.
