Amazing how some people dismissed Maul after he "died" in Episode 1. Yet his story gotten so much better. He basically got the "Boba Fett Effect" (I call it). Be badass enough that people take notice and suddenly a very interesting and rich backstory and story is created. After all. Though Boba Fett only had a grand total of 2 minutes and 55 seconds of screen time vs Maul's 7 minutes...sooo yeah.

Maul at first was a villain, but then he became a lost character, one who wanted to justify himself and just make things the way he saw right, he truly deserves his own life series although its already mostly in SW Clone Wars and SW Rebels

Maul’s story reminds me so much of Darth Bane’s story they were both so filled with rage in the dark side that the pure anger they felt was enough to keep them alive after almost dying several times
