Okay, I think enough time has passed since Solo for me to pin a comment and say yes, I know this video now needs updating lol.

He has one of the most emotional death scene in all star wars :C

I wrecked this noob so hard but he just kept coming back for more. Nobody messes with _the_ Obi-Wan Kenobi.

A full history of Palpatine's life would be great, he's probably one of the most intriguing characters in Star Wars.

Darth Maul is such an interesting character.

What's your favorite Darth Maul moment? Mine is when he kills Duchess Satine. Kind of dark, but I love how it shows how far he will go to exact his revenge.

I just noticed that Maul was most likely the first person Obi-Wan defeated (at ieast dark side force user) and the last one he killed before his own death.

Maybe after rebels is over, you could do one on canon Thrawn?

A complete story on Jar Jar Binks. He's the key to all of this.

Darth Maul is one of the most tragic characters, and that's why I love him. I always loved him becuase he has a great character design (I mean, that's how we all start to like Characters in Star Wars, right? The cooler ones always get more praise.) and then with the Clone Wars and Rebels, he was so fleshed out. He was smart, he was powerful, he was pure evil at certain moments, and he also got my sympathy when he died. He'll always be my favorite Star Wars characters.

"Far above, far above, we don't know when we'll fall."

"Far above, far above, what once was great is rendered

A not as infamous yet much more poetic quote than say "I am your father". It was first muttered by Sidious, in the presence of Maul, during a legend's book by Ryder Windham. It was labeled: The Wrath of Maul. It of course foreshadow's Maul's eventual fate making it truly poetic in it's ironic sense. However the genius of it's idea is not as well known as it should, and even the truest of fans faintly recognize it.

F.Y.I: The quote itself is in a sense canon as it appears in an episode of The Clone Wars, believe it or not, when the still broken Maul first returns to Dathomir as well muttering the phrase to himself in his state of madness. It is one of the few things he remembers from his past life. The Star Wars community should endulge much further into the topic.

I know you've probably already done this, but I would love to see an updated version of Darth Revan's story made like this video, as it would not only give one of only a few in depth analysis of his character, but would be an amazing reference point for one of the greatest as of yet non-canon characters of all time. Help me StarWarsExplained, you're my only hope!

Seems like Sidious always wanted Darth Maul to find ways to break the rules or strike out on his own.
Very clever.

You didn't mention how he turned good with literally his last dying breath when he asked Kenobi if Anakin was the chosen one and he said yes.

One of those clone channels has a nice video about this. Its name is a references to one of the other versions of this story or something, and it's basically a video eulogy for Maul. It's an incredibly well-done video, and made me feel a little less upset that an entire episode of Rebels was wasted on Maul's death.

Timeline of Maul in the Canon (so far):

Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir (Flashback)
Darth Maul (Comic)
Star Wars: Age of Republic - Darth Maul
Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (Seasons 3-5)
Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (Season 7)
Solo: A Star Wars Story
Star Wars: Rebels (Seasons 2-3)

There are gaps in the story basically around Solo: A Star Wars Story and in between TPM and TCW.

Our marvellous Dathomirian Nightbrother (not a Zabrak) life summaried (not): Born on Dathomir. Stolen by Darth Sidious because he tricked his mother. Trained as a Sith under the person who kidnapped him (gosh). He then revealed himself to the Jedi. A Jedi chopped him in half. He ended up on a trash planet. He goes crazy. His brother finds him. Takes him back to their mother. His mother puts him back together. He and his brother go on a quest to kill Obi-Wan and to form a faction for the Clone Wars. He tried and failed to form a faction with the pirates but succeeded with the Manalorians and form the Shadow Collective. Obi-Wan goes to save his love Satine but Maul kills her. Obi escapes. His old master arrived and killed his brother. Captures him and his get broken out by the Mandalorians. Talzin sends the Nightbrothers to help Maul and the Shadow Collective to fight the Separatists. They get murdered by Dooku. Lots of Maul's followers leave the Shadow Collective. But he still has the Manalorians. Ahsoka Tano arrives and saves Mandalore from Maul. Maul and the Shadow Collective (now known as the Crimson Dawn) go to become pirates to send Qi'Ra on a adventure in the Solo film. The some how looses the organisation and goes looking for a Sith temple and a Sith holocron on Malacore. He film them and Ezra with friends. He tried to make Ezra him apprentice but failed. He and Ezra merged a Sith and Jedi holocons to get visions of Obi-Wan. He with Ezra goes to Dathomir to use Nightsister magic to figure out where Obi-Wan is. He goes to Tatooine and finds Obi-Wan and dies at his hand. Obi-Wan berries him on Tatooine.

We basically know his whole life story. Yes some gaps but what do you people want? More of him? That creates Solo where it just adds stuff that doesn't work.
