I'm not a Spurs supporter, but someone finally had the balls to say what I already knew official...Congratulations to the manager, he has to protect himself personally and professionally along with his people.

If I was a Spurs fan I'd be delighted the manager is calling out the board. Not just a yes man and he's demanding more and better recruitment. It's the same thing for Utd who lost players and are weaker after the transfer window.

Clearly some commentators at Talk Sports owe Jose Mourinho an apology for their comments when THFC sacked Jose, you all slated him, even though Jose did not sell players at Spurs apart from the exchange of Walker Peters for Hojbjerg. All Jose did was work hard for this Club, he stayed at the THFC Stadium Hotel and even took the stick for pushing players like Tanguy Ndombele beyond their limit, yet everyone who had the microphone somehow believed Jose who's won 25 major trophies in 4 European Leagues is not qualified to criticise his players for making mistakes after mistakes. What do we see now?

Conte is not laughing/giggling, he is stating facts. Its the reality at Spurs. An honest man.

It's good to hear someone say it as it is, we're in an era where you are chastised for criticizing someone, so everyone will be all PC, and not address the issue head on. Good on Conte for speaking his mind, but I wouldn't expect anything else from him.

As a spurs fan its only what most of us have been saying since halfway through Pochs time at spurs

I think Cundy and O'Hara are so OTT here. Conte was spot on. Nothing remotely controversial.

In a time where everybody is media trained, scooting around questions and saying the same thing. This shows personality character and that he's ballsy. I rate him.

When Jose does it it’s toxic but if Conte does it it’s needed and praised. Make it make sense

This interview is what you buy Conte for. He always blows up the place. Best thing that happened to Spurs.

He is absolutely spot on. If we want to get into top4 this season, we haven’t got the quality and experience in the midfield and defence to do that. If we are building for the future, we still need quality experienced players to win games as well as influence the youngsters.
So Conte is saying buy quality experienced players or else stay where you are.
This needs to be said publicly so that fan’s and clubs expectations are realistic.
Fantastic Manager

Conte is saying he did not bring in those players, so again Jamie is showing his lack of understanding. He is very good at that.

He's spot on. Bring in a class manager and spend a pittance on the team.

Why can’t we watch all the shows live on YouTube. Much prefer watching to just listening

Honesty is the best policy and Spurs fans should welcome what Conte has said - the biggest issue isn’t actually the lack of backing imo but rather who actually decides which players are bought and sold - we have wasted well over £100m on players who not been able to even hold down a first team place - who is to blame for that and why is it being allowed to continue?

Most of the spurs fans that have been following the club along time are delighted he said this. Sick of yes men

Conte is standing up to Levy. Which is something no other managers or fans had the balls to. If this doesn't bring about a change, and the board spills out narratives about oh but Conte asked the four to go then I hope he doesn't give up and keeps bringing the fight to Levy. The only way this will end is if Levy guarantees him certain number of players (including experienced players) in the summer NOW, in writing and not the damn gentleman's agreement verbal promise Levy always plays with. If not, Conte leaves mid season because he knows getting screwed again by Levy in the summer is inevitable and all the pressure and blame will be on Levy. We should understand that he is doing this now because if he does get us into top 4, then Levy will screw him again in the summer. He's not going to let this happen. Good move Antonio. The words hurt as a fan but it necessary and he's the only one who has a voice.

These two are clowns… they criticise managers for not being honest, now they are criticising Conte for being the very thing that they bang the drum for every other week!
