I Test if This Injection Improves My Brain

I got a vitamin shot to test if it works to make me think clearly, creatively, and critically -- enhance focus, memory, and mental clarity -- amplify drive and productivity. They say intramuscular injections of vitamins allow a quicker absorption to the bloodstream than the digestive system. The Brain B shot also claims the benefit of promoting healthy, long-term cognitive function. It contains vitamin B12, L-Arginine and L-Carnitine. Did it change my focus, memory, and mental clarity? I added in a round of cryotherapy, exercise, and meditation to see if that made a difference!

I like how scientific this tried to be. It’s hard to do when it’s just you- especially when you’re conducting the experiment out of your own curiosity. I think you did a good job.

I have ME/CFS and I megadosed B12 (methylcobalamin specifically, there's 3 different kinds of B12) for cognition, 5000mcg/daily whereas a normal dose is 1000-2000mcg.
I wasn't deficient, and it made a HUGE difference for me. I went from being barely able to read half an A4 page, to able to read short stories! I had been a huge novel person before getting sick but you take the wins where you can.

So if you want a cognitive boost there's definitely a way to get there with B12, but I doubt one shot and one day would be enough to make a difference.

I appreciate the effort of making good-quality content, but I would like to see some disclaimers about these practices, the regulations are so light that they may have injected only red water or something worse and usually they don't have any insurance. so you take a considerable risk for nothing in terms of performance. There is a video of dc Mike about it

There are so many variables even if there was an effect it might not have changed enough. It would be better to test once a day for a week to establish a baseline, then do the treatment long enough to give it a chance. Then test daily again. THEN stop the treatment long enough for the effects to vanish and test a week again. If the treatment works it will cleary get better then worse again.

While I do think vitamins are important, I'm pretty confidant high doses and short periods are mostly placebo effects. Long term seems more a matter of avoiding deficiencies. Anything over 'enough' is equally good. How much is 'enough'? That I'm still working on.

Ooh, meditation! Have you tried hrv/resonance breathing to improve hrv? It was a game changer for me for recovery and stress reduction. I used the style in the book Heart Breath Mind by Leah Lagos.

It would be interesting to know if there's any other differences and/or changes in other areas. I know in men l-aginine can be used to help with ED.

if I tried this, it'd be ADHD vs B12...which is stronger...

Did you cut the part where she wiped your skin with an alcohol prep pad or did she not do it?

Please be careful where you go for these alrernative treatments, you can get seriously hurt.

I’m just here for all the comments that are like “this is not actually scientific because. . .”

Vitamin B's are rarely undersupplied, first of all. Then, overdosage can cause skin rashes, especially the artificial vitamin types.
Vitamin B 12 CAN help with neurological issues IF you have a deficiency. There are cases in which deficiencies are common but if you live a mainly healthy lifestyle and didn't buy into a supposedly "healthy" vegan diet or have any other medical condition you're pretty much safe and are most likely not deficient.

I'd really not recommend this for any population exept alcoholics and/or vegans. Especially not if you don't know your vitamin-levels.
Don't believe me? Educate yourself....

if you do it yourself at home, one B12 shot is below 5$.
