Yesterday after using pen, I forgot to keep it back in fridge. After 8 hrs I noticed that pen is still outside, should I reuse it or discard ?

I have watched several videos, unfortunately I heard many sermons about diabetes, and in the end the explanation was not clear. This video helped me understand and clarify all my doubts! Thanks a lot! It was what I really needed!

I have a question: I’ve been on Ozempic for 11 weeks now. My Doctor prescribed the 1st Ozempic pen, when we were suppose to bump up to the 2nd pen… I didn’t realize there were 3 different pens, so without realizing it, I picked it up from the psychiatrist. 😭 My Doctor wrote another prescription but now my insurance won’t cover the new prescription. 😢 I didn’t open it, but they didn’t take it back because it could have been tampered with once outside of pharmacy. I totally get it, and That’s okay, I don’t want to waste it either.

Anyway, I was told by the pharmacist that I can inject myself twice (when I’ve been reading it’s a once a week injection) and to make sure to alternate shot sights…

So question is: do I still need to shot myself in a different location..? Or, Can I just move it an inch or two over and give myself the other shot..?

I’ll give my pharmacist a call when they open. I’ll do it before I give myself my 12th week dose!! 😊 So far, with my experience, it’s been helping. I didn’t want rush on upping the dosage (because of the sad and negative stories I’ve heard) so I went ahead and did the 0.25 for 5 weeks, and 0.50 for 5 weeks. Last week, I did a 0.75 when I’m prescribed the 1ml now. I just want my body to adjust well to it.
