As an American who loves geography, I am pleasantly surprised at how well my fellow Americans mostly did. I never liked when they'd go up to random Americans on "late night" TV shows, and ask them about geography. Because I feel like anybody who got answers correct was cut out, and only the most ignorant ones were kept in (for comedy purposes, I understand).

Big countries are kind of easy, Russia, Canada, Brazil, USA, China, it's hard in Europe 'cause the countries there are pretty small
