You Won't Believe This Is Venezuela 4k

Показать описание
I spent one month solo-exploring Venezuela, a country I’ve dreamed of visiting since childhood, ever since I first watched the movie Up, which was inspired by Angel Falls and Mount Roraima.
Together with a porter and two other guides, I spent the first 10 days hiking Mount Roraima for almost 100 kms, reaching the farthest point possible. With no signal and limited food and drone batteries, I had to be very selective about what to capture, patiently waiting for the moment I had come for: filming La Proa as I had always imagined, with the music from Dune inspiring me to push the limits of what I thought I could achieve.
After returning from Mount Roraima, I saw the immense potential this country holds, so I continued my journey to the Orinoco Delta. I spent three days exploring the area with Orinoco Delta Lodge, an unforgettable experience. From there, I traveled to Canaima National Park to witness and film the world's tallest waterfall—my long-time dream, inspired by the movie Up. Although I spent a night near the waterfall and captured some good drone shots, I felt it wasn’t enough to fully complement Hans Zimmer’s music. So, I took a helicopter to fly over and land at the falls. I had only two minutes to capture everything before the weather changed and the clouds completely obscured the view, forcing us to leave quickly.
My last stop was Los Llanos, a 14-hour bus ride from Caracas. Inspired by @Diaz's photos of this place, I was able to complete my film with the last two shots that brought everything together.
This experience has been life-changing, not only because of the country’s natural wonders but also because of its people, who were incredibly cheerful and willing to help, despite the economic challenges they face. I promised myself to create a video that would truly represent Venezuela and show the world what it deserves. It certainly won’t be my last visit to Venezuela, as there is so much more to explore.
Music - Hans Zimmer (Kiss The Ring - Dune 2)
