10 Most OVERHYPED Manchester United Academy Graduates!

On today’s top ten, we’re taking a look at ten of Manchester United’s most overhyped academy graduates, and how they’ve turned out. Adnan Januzaj is the only one here to have carved out a decent career at a high level, but the likes of Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Luke Chadwick and James Wilson have found their peak in League 1. Andreas Pereira may still be on the books but is a perennial loanee, whilst United fought tooth and nail to keep hold of Zeki Fryers a decade ago – but now he is a non-league footballer. Angel Gomes is out of his depth at Lille, and Paddy McNair is in the Championship, dreaming of a Premier League return. It was all downhill for Federico Macheda after two goals in two games to start his United career, and then there’s the curious case of Ravel Morrison, supposedly one of the most gifted players Sir Alex Ferguson has ever seen.

Football media at it's worst, singling out individuals who've done nothing worse than perhaps not reach their full potential. How would you feel if you were one of these people? I'd rather be Macheda and have scored that classic goal than be the person who came up with this nonsense.

As a Panathinaikos fan, for my club to still have Federico Macheda ... a former football player, it excruciating to burn money on this guy, he doesn't even belong in the league at the first place. Time for him to go to Turkey or China
