Is this cheating?! 🤦🏻‍♀️

In my unpopular opinion, it's NOT cheating to use a projector to start off your paintings.

If you already know how to draw, this step can save SO much time.

HOWEVER, I don't recommend using a projector unless you already know and have practiced the foundations of drawing! Otherwise, you're not going to understand how your subjects need to be shaped in order to look good when painted.

Idk as an artist I try not to even use reference pics but it really depends on your art style and what you’re comfortable/ the kind of project you’re dealing with. If you like to use projectors and that’s what you like to do then slay.

I only don't know how you found something that's already so ready so you could just project or to take the sketch over. The lion and girl are already all in place. Did you make that sketch yourself in small and then you use projector.
