I wanted to make a Notion like a dashboard using Obsidian Daily Notes to track my research.
Features I cover are:
1) Navigation - to move between daily notes
2) Checklists - to tick off-source review
3) Writing prompts - to focus my research
4) Task manager - to manage my source notes and permanent notes creation
5) Statistics - generating tables using python to monitor my research

Hello everyone! A viewer asked the following: "Is there a way for me to create tomorrow’s note with the same template?"
While looking at this the latest version of the templater plugin has removed tp_today so I recommend you use the following for navigation. This will populate the daily note correct.

# Daily Notes - {{tp_title_date}}
| >>

You can also use this when you create a note with tomorrows date as the file name. It will not automatically apply the template so you need to apply the daily note template from Templater plugin.

Siv, this was awesome. I really enjoyed the Templater plug-in and your uses for it. Another GREAT video!

Thanks! Would you mind sharing your daily note template and your python stats-script?

Could you please break down how you use IFTTT from YT, Twitter to Google sheets, and to Obsidian?
Great content as usual. Thanks in advance.

Update: It seems that the plugin has updated a few times. I followed a few of the comments and got it to work once I changed the header to include instruction. (I use the MM-DD-YYYY but you can change this) This is the format:
- - -
# DAILYLOG {{tp.file.title}}
- - -
<< [[<% tp.date.now("MM-DD-YYYY", -1, tp.file.title, "MM-DD-YYYY") %>]] | [[<% tp.date.now("MM-DD-YYYY", 1, tp.file.title, "MM-DD-YYYY") %>]] >>

Could you share more visualization scripts? It really amazed me. Moreover, would it be possible to plot charts with plotly so that visualizations are interactive (probably not but I had to ask)?

I followed the instructions, installed templates plug in, but those links for yesterday and tomorrow aren’t working …?

Wow, your videos are amazing! I hope you continue to make more.

I’ve been learning Obsidian the past couple of weeks and your videos have definitely helped. Thanks!

I have a few questions, not sure if they are video worthy, though.

Are you using iCloud for your vault or how are you doing that?
Are you using Obsidian Sync or plan to do so?

I use my iPad more than my Mac so I’m really looking forward to the Obsidian mobile app. In the mean time I’m trying iA Writer.
I use Drafts very much but not so much with Obsidian.

I saw you mentioned Apple Notes, how are you using that?
