Beast Mastery should not be about summoning a bunch of pets from thin air. It should be about beefing up your one or two pets to cleave down mobs like monsters. They should grow in size, pounce, jump, use animations from druid forms—just spawning more beasts from nowhere is stupid and boring.

For Balance druid just make the talent Orbital Strike apply all your dots. You can instantly go into your burst and removes alot of the ramp up needed.

Another awesome vid. I’m excited to play Arcane on my mage for once, I’ve always been a fire or frost mage but Arcane is so fun to play, the gameplay loop is so rewarding

I think Balance would be 1000x more interesting to play even if they just made wrath/starfire/starsurge/dots increase the duration of your eclipse, similar to the original voidform gameplay. making the eclipse stronger over time would be cool too.

I adore Augmentation because I get exhausted with healing sometimes and I'm not always up to dpsing and maintaining a certain number to be relevant. I can work with keeping up a buff for my party :)

It would be so cool if Hunter pets looked bigger for the Hunter, but for everyone else they were small so they don't get in the way (and have it look like they are just auto-attacking for everyone except the Hunter).

I highly disagree with removal of Siphon Life being a win for Aff. It's one of the most iconic abilities in the history of the spec and making it passive now is just as much of a mistake as it was back in 3.1. The issue has never been with SL per se. The issue was that Blizzard has consistently lowered DoT duration over the years meaning you were refreshing them more often, while also adding a bunch of other things to Affliction like giving them a spender and multiple short cooldowns. All of which combined made applying SL annoying because you were constantly juggling multiple other issues and had barely any GCD to spare.

On top of that, it gave us another DoT for Malefic Rapture to scale with, which gave additional differences in how the spec felt with and without the spell. Now you have "Your Corruption deals 20% extra damage and gives laughable self-heal" and "Your Corruption deals 15% damage and you apply it once". That's barely any difference at all and the extra 5% are barely worth it the extra GCDs you spend on reapplying it throughout the fight.

And while reversal of the shortening of DoT duration that went on for multiple expansions would have been unlikely, they could have made it so that Corruption also applied Siphon Life for both the overall feel and spec identity, as well as for the sake of extra scaling of Malefic Rapture I mentioned above. It's not even unprecedented, multiple DoT specs now have "your first DoT applies another DoT". And while for example Shadow Priests applies SW:P with Vampiric Touch when SW:P continues to exist separately in their spell book if they so wish to cast it, Unholy DK's Superstrain talent does create a precedent of the extra passively applied DoTs coming from outside of your spec's spellbook.

The most depressing thing about this whole video is how they nerfed living bomb damage by 63% so you no longer play it at all. Fire mage is not fun...im sad.

Wow, he has done it again! You, VesperalTV, are basically the only reason I open Youtube now a days. I've watched your videos for a very long time but never commented and I can honestly say that Im more excited for your coverage of TWW than actually playing it myself! I've named my first character for the expansion after you and I'm in discussions with my partner about naming our first child after you (if I had a partner.) As a Shadow Priest main since WoD, I prefer Archon tbh. Voidweaver looks amazing sure but the gameplay has some really bad interactions like incentivizing NOT pressing Mind Blast on cooldwon, leading to a really weird 30sec CD window that you are putting all your eggs into. But not in a good fun way, the strength of shadow is the smoothness and consistency feel. Voidweaver takes that and throws it in the bin.

Hopin that tree gets some reworks at some point in TWW
