VS Code tips — Removing a keyboard shortcut

Want to remove a keyboard shortcut in VS Code? It's easy!

1. First open the keyboard shortcuts. You can do this from the preference menu or by running the 'Open keyboard shortcuts' command.
2. Find the shortcut you wish to remove. You can search by name or by keybinding.
3. Right click on it and select 'Remove Keybinding'.

This is especially helpful when multiple extensions contribute conflicting shortcuts.

I still have a `shift + delete` which deletes the line AND copy it to clipboard.
No matter what I do, I cant get rid of it. It doesn't even show in the keybindings list anymore but still works

typed it and it didnt find it. it shows me some other settings. i type in shortcuts, keyboard etc nothing. i never end up on the page you show
i have a problem with command C and command V when i want to copy paste things and entire VScode starts to show me some whitened box (not the normal | when i type but its a white box). i have not found the solution still. such keyboard shortcut exists in their list which i am not able to remove
