No way. I think that’s my same issue!!! Yours is more annoying than mine but the clanking sounds the exact same. I can’t believe two technicians couldn’t realize this before I did

More people need to just identify the problem causing a sound and post the sound so I dont have to look for a heat shield rattle noise for an hour this is helpful 😭😭😭

This definitely sounds like the same noise I am currently experiencing. I am going to take in to see if that's the main cause.

Heck I had one that only rattled at like 40mph, I showed the mechanic the spot to check (in a video) and he just confirmed the bolt was tight, charged me for 'looking' and I had to go under and put a washer where the bolt had wore the metal away and needed more area.

This is how mines sounds when I’m in drive. But when it’s parked doesn’t make the sound!

My 2003 honda pilot is making a sound like that but more of a metal scraping noise.

Absolutely 100% it’s the infamous heat shield rattle…been dealing with it on both of my Subarus and I’m sick of it
