In a speech to the World Economic Forum, Chinese President Xi Jinping on January 25, 2021, urged world leaders to put aside ideological confrontations. In the 20-minute video address, Xi warned against a “new Cold War” and said that countries should “respect and accommodate” each other’s differences. His speech came as the new Biden administration discusses its China strategy with US allies.
