In all my 58 years i couldn't believe how hard and seemingly impossible it is to know how to do this and to break the habits of sinning. Maybe deep down ive just given up or beyond salvation now because ive grieved away the Holy Spirit.

All i know is im stuck.

Some good advice. Deny yourself the fleshly tendency to launch into legalism by teaching others that they too must obey the old covenant fulfilled by Christ! Nothing can ever add to the Blood of Christ to atone for sins, and to save one from the flames of Hell!

Why not just let us be able to control our flesh and impose desires for good things instead of allowing the devil to hack our flesh and put desires for things we don’t really want in a clear mind

I don't get it. If your talking bible, and things like denying yourself, how come you don't include the power of God?
Or, let's get to the heart of the matter. Sin. And how do you remove sin?
By water baptism in Jesus name.
And receiving the Holy Ghost.
