Chronic mouth breathing can:
✔️Mess up your sleep
✔️Disrupt your hormones
✔️Drain your energy
✔️Increase your waistline
✔️Alter the shape of your jaw, teeth, and palate - yikes!

So remember: your nose is for breathing, your mouth is for talking, eating, and some forms of exercise (mostly high intensity).

That book is also an audio book and it was great! It's really hard to stop mouth breathing though. And sometimes (like in my case) my tonsils were too big, my uvula was too long and too fat, I had a deviated septum as well as a bone spur in my nose, so my breathing was always labored. Surgery helped for a little bit, but while I'm an athlete and quite fit, I now have moderate sleep apnea. But, the Book Breathe is really enlightening!

Mouth breathing is natural for very high intensity training, when you need more oxygen in less time
